Only 1,5 days new baby girl!

When I was shooting this session it was a really full house - parents with three kids (newborn baby was only 1,5 days new!!), grandparents and nanny and on top of that my mom, my two kids and I, but it was fun Emotikon smile I cannot stop smiling when I see these photos. This family is so great!

Milestone and family session - two in one :)

Family session on the Ambleside beach

This session was my biggest project - 11 kids and 4 moms. We met for a session on the most foggy day since the wildfires started. I think that this smog look makes it very unique.

Milestone session

I can't believe I did this Milestone session in April and forgot to post more than one photo (it was posted on Facebook site) Emotikon smile Baby P was 6 months old. I need to create a collage with her when she was a newborn and when she was 6 months old to show how much she has changed. 

Belly photo session in North Vancouver

This mom to be for a third time is absolutely beautiful and looks so stunning. They are such nice family who made me laugh a lot! It was fun to work with them. 

Family session with teens... and a dog :)

When I was contacted by this family I was a bit terrified to work with two teenagers. I felt something like a stage fright a moment before I started the session. Guess what? It was easy and pleasant. I can now say I love to work with teens.

Newborn session in North Vancouver

I love to work with such incredible people who want to help me and make my job easier when the baby is not happy with taking the photos. We tried everything but she was only happy in her mom and dad's arms. I met this couple a while ago for maternity shoot, now they are a family Emotikon smileCongratulations!!

Studio session in West Vancouver

When I was shooting this milestone and family session I found out about a very interesting Chinese tradition. They celebrate 100 days from birth. It's very important to them. I am so happy I could be a part of it! Here are two collages. Happy 100 day small S :)

Milestone sessions

Last Wednesday I was visited by two sisters. I met them when small P was a newborn, only few days old. I can't believe it was 5 moths ago. I just love to see little ones grow and change in-front of my lens. It truly is amazing how much these little babies grow in a matter of months.

Session in the Stanley Park

Even though I am swamped with work, I had to pause a moment to share this darling family. This little Gentlemen was turning two, so we met to celebrate this important moment of his life. Look how cute this family is!

Newborn studio session

This little girl is a true fighter. She decided to come to the world a little bit earlier than she should, so we had to wait a while for newborn session. She was 11 weeks old when I met her, although she was as small as 11 days old baby.
It is so inspiring to see such loving and caring family. Thank you for coming to me!

Nothing is so touching as the broad smiles of proud parents of two handsome boys. Another amazing family, who invited me to welcome their new baby boy. Congratulations once again! 

Family day

Have I mentioned how I love this job? There is no better way to spend family day than snapping photos of a new family member. I had the pleasure to work with a lovely family of 3.

Happy New Year

There is a saying in my country that the whole next year will be exactly the same how you spent the new year's eve. I met some friends, had a great day and waited till midnight working on photos I took yesterday :) if this is how's gonna look like 2015 - sounds good for me :)

Busy day on the beach

I couldn't believe that the weather can change so fast. Over the night we had a storm in Vancouver and sometime around 9pm we had no power -it was dark and scary in the whole neighborhood. I couldn't sleep because of the hauling wind and cracking tree noises. When I woke up I was sure I will have to reschedule this session for another day. I think I'm a lucky girl and someone is watching over me and helping me. The sun came out and it was such warm and nice day after a week of rain :)

Newborn session

It's 1:46 AM and I can't stop converting photos. Gosh I love this :) I already have forgotten how it is with such small child, and I prepared a box thinking that she might be too big for that. I was wrong; she is teeny tiny 10 days old baby girl.

Winter in Vancouver

Whenever it's sunny we go out. My boys don't like to pose so they are like stars - photographed by paparazzi while walking, talking and playing :)

Family session

The best part in photographer's work is to visit such wonderful families like this one. This house was full of positive vibration! I didn't want to go home! It was a pleasure to meet you all!

Christmas photo session

This year I decided to create funny cards, so I gave Santa's hats to my boys and let them play with them :)

Family walk

Last Sunday we enjoyed the sunny weather in Stanley Park during the walk. Of course as usual my kids started to complain that the walk was too boring and too long, but at the end when we got to a parking lot, they had the best time and didn't want to go back home, so as always I took out my camera and snapped some photos of them playing.

Last moment

I was very excited to host a mom-to-be (for third time) at my place. We spent some time together on Wednesday morning and here you can see the results of it:

Christmas time (update)

It is time to start thinking about Christmas. Today I did some photos with my son for a Christmas card - personalized only for him to send to our family and his friends. He's been sick and in PJs since Sunday so I had a huge challenge to ask him to pose and smile. More then that he didn't like the flash and he didn't like the hat. This is what you get when you work with kids :)

Today I visited a mom and her beautiful daughter. We only had a little bit of time to snap some photos of them but it was so easy as they are both so lovely.

A rainy day in Vancouver

When a friend asked me to do a photo shoot with her dressed as a witch standing in the rain, I was curious how it would turn out and knew I had to do it. 

Check this out, it actually turned out great, even with a squirming cat!

Was it a magazine photo?

Everyone knows how it is, when you postpone something endlessly, thinking that you still have enough time to do it. One day I realized that I had a lot of strangers' photos but none of my own sister. We set up a date just a month before my flight to Canada. I did this photo shoot not knowing that she will send it to a magazine as an illustration to an article about communication problems between owners and horses. She is a well known polish horse behaviorist and she wrote a how-to properly "talk" to horses.

Black beauty and blond beauty

This team is a great example of understanding and trust. Martha bought this mare just few months before the photoshoot, but it's easy to see the connection between them.

European winter

In my home country winters are always very white, cold and snowy. When we scheduled the photo shoot we had no idea it will be the coldest, almost stormy day of the winter. The temperature was close to -20 C and the falling snow was thick like a curtain, so I couldn't snap anything from afar. Even though the weather conditions were difficult to work with, I remember this day as a very warm, full of joy and laugh.

Long term relationship

This full blood gelding was sold when the trainer decided he no longer had a chance to win any races. The new young owner had no idea how difficult it would be to work with him but she did a great job. From a very hot and naughty boy he changed into a nice pony.

The nicest pony I have ever met

This gelding was about 17 years old when I first met him. I would say a perfect family horse; calm, forgiving, easy to please and very, very safe. His owner got him when she was only 9, but she loves him so much, that there was no option to sell him after she outgrew him. Even though the competitors in jumping shows underestimated them all the time (because of the size) they were unbeatable.
